Minister of State Al Marar praised the uniqueness of the deep-rooted fraternal relations between the two countries, stressing the importance of continuing joint consultation and coordination on various human rights issues, given the great importance this area has at the level of both bilateral and multilateral relations.
He also stressed the need to highlight the success stories of the two countries in the field of human rights, especially regarding their efforts to promote peaceful coexistence and religious tolerance at international gatherings.
The Legal Affairs and Human Rights Director-General expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Minister of State for his continued support for the joint coordination meeting, wishing the UAE every success in hosting and chairing the 28th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28).
