The tour began at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and then the National Institution for Human Rights, following the Ombudsman, the Commission for the Rights of Prisoners and Detainees, and a visit to the Open Prisons Complex and the Special Investigation Unit. The tour also concluded with a visit to the Royal Academy of Police, during which the delegation met with officials from each entity, where they
were introduced and briefed on the efforts these entities in the field of human rights and respond to all inquiries.
The delegation of the Arab Charter on Human Rights Committee praised the remarkable development achieved by the Kingdom of Bahrain in the field of promoting and protecting human rights at all levels.
