The Human Rights Sector of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs organised an interactive workshop entitled "Convention on the Rights of the Child and best practices", in cooperation with the Embassy of the United Kingdom to the Kingdom of Bahrain. The workshop was presented by the international child experts Paula Jack and Stephen Burnside.

The workshop reviewed the best practices for reporting on the rights of the child presented to the relevant United Nations mechanisms.

It saw the participation of representatives from the National Committee for Children, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Social Development, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education, and representatives of civil society organisations.
