MoFA organizes “Crisis Management to Sustain Consular Services” session and simulation exercise

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized a session entitled "Consular Affairs: Success Stories and Lessons Learned" and conducted a simulation exercise on "Crisis Management to Sustain Consular Services" as part of the Diplomatic Forum. The session was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Consular and Administrative Affairs, Ambassador Dr. Mohammed Ali Behzad, along with a number of heads of diplomatic and consular missions of the Kingdom of Bahrain abroad, and senior officials of the Ministry.

Dr. Behzad presented an overview of the development of consular services provided by the Ministry to citizens both domestically and abroad, highlighting a number of opportunities and success stories that have been achieved in collaboration with the National Committee for Disaster Response.

Dr. Behzad stressed the importance of the consular efforts made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Kingdom of Bahrain’s diplomatic and consular missions abroad, emphasizing the need for improved citizen services.

The simulation exercise on " Crisis Management to Sustain Consular Services " aimed to provide methods for dealing with crises and disasters, focusing on safeguarding citizens interests, and ensuring their safety and security.

Dr. Behzad appreciated the simulation exercise's implementation and its practical application, highlighting the National Committee for Disaster Response's role in enhancing consular work, emphasizing the importance of building upon advanced levels.
