He expressed his delight for the participation, praising the role of Bahrain's missions abroad in strengthening economic relations between the Kingdom and brotherly and friendly countries and their support and promotion to wider levels to meet common goals and interests.
He also presented a comprehensive review of economic indicators, noting that the Kingdom of Bahrain enjoys great economic diversity, and that non-oil sectors represent 83% of the GDP, as it continues to advance economic growth in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He reviewed the most prominent achievements of the Economic Development Board in 2023, expressing his aspiration to further attract investments during 2024 in priority sectors including financial services, industry, logistics, information and communications technology, and tourism.
At the end of the session, the floor was opened for interventions and questions were raised by the Heads of Diplomatic and Consular Missions abroad on the topics related to the economy and investment and ways to develop them.
