Ministry of Foreign Affairs organises round table on Bahrain-US Security Integration, Prosperity Agreement

On the sidelines of the Diplomatic Forum 2024, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs organised a round table on the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America. Discussions were led by Ambassador of the Kingdom to the US, Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, and Deputy National Security Advisor, Colonel Shaikh Khalid bin Ali bin Jaber Al Khalifa, and moderated by the Chief of American Affairs, Ambassador Shaikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa.

The Ambassador of the Kingdom to the US hailed the strong Bahraini-American relations, hailing the strategic partnership between the two countries in the fields of defence and security which continue to grow as part of their efforts to preserve international peace.

The Deputy National Security Advisor expressed pride in the efforts of the ministry to hold such important events that contribute to serving the Kingdom’s interests at the national and international levels. He also pointed out the importance of the agreement in enhancing joint cooperation in the fields of security, economy, investment and others.

The event concluded by a broader discussion with Bahrain's ambassadors and consuls abroad as well as ministry officials, who in turn valued the discussion of the agreement.
